Wellness Garden Community Is Now Open

Updated: Aug 23, 2021

The purpose of a Wellness Garden is to promote multiple aspects of your wellness on a daily basis. We focus on progress, not perfection.

Black thumb or brown thumb, these are the nicknames we give ourselves and others that are notorious for being plant killers. Once we have this label, it feels nearly impossible to visualize ourselves ever growing anything.

Gardening is an art AND a science...

Imagine only doing a thing because you know you are going to be good at it. In that timeline, there are so many missed opporutnities to improve yourself and discover hidden abilities within you.

It's an excuse we hear so many times. "I can't do yoga because I don't even know how to touch my toes." "I can't be vegan because I cannot live without eating meat." And lastly, "I killed a plant in the past, so I can't be a gardener." Listen to me closely...

Don't Sell Yourself Short!

Gardening teaches us to focus on our progress. Not to focus on being perfect or getting it exactly right. Gardening has so many benefits for your overall wellness, so it's worth giving it a chance, even if you had terrible experiences in the past. The added benefit of having a community to support you means receiving advice, support, and new ways of approaching your plants that may turn your black thumb green. Most membership levels also offer discounts on LABWELL classes to help shorten the learning curve and increase your level of commitment to your wellness. Steps To Join

  1. Prepare Your Mindset: Maybe you've never grown anything in your life, have had a failed experience in the past, or feel like you are the only weirdo in your friend group growing things. Then give yourself permission to do it anyway! Wherever your barrier lies, identify it.

  2. Create a List of Goals: Do you want a room full of plants? An outdoor potted garden? Are you looking to connect with like-minded people getting their hands in the dirt? Your goals will help you decide what membership tier is best for you to meet that goal.

  3. Take The First Step: Once you've decided to go for it and set your goals. Click the link, pick your membership tier and say "Hey!" to your new family.

A community of gardeners is waiting to help you get past roadblocks and challenges to your wellness.
